Objective of Java Project on Library Information System

The main objective of the Java Project on Library Information System is to manage the details of Book Maintenance, Fees Collection, Planning the Acquisition of Materials,Student, Membership Management. It manages all the information about Book Maintenance, Facilities, Membership Management, Book Maintenance. The project is totally built at administrative end and thus only the administrator is guaranteed the access. The purpose of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work for managing the Book Maintenance, Fees Collection, Facilities, Planning the Acquisition of Materials. It tracks all the details about the Planning the Acquisition of Materials,Student, Membership Management.

Functionalities provided by Java Project on Library Information System are as follows:

Limitation of Java Project on Library Information System

  • Excel export has not been developed for Facilities, Student due to some criticality.
  • The transactions are executed in off-line mode, hence on-line data for Book Maintenance, Fees Collection capture and modification is not possible.
  • Off-line reports of Book Maintenance, Planning the Acquisition of Materials, Membership Management cannot be generated due to batch mode execution.
