Internet Banking Dataflow Diagram

Posted By namita on July 5, 2017

Internet Banking Data flow diagram is often used as a preliminary step to create an overview of the Internet without going into great detail, which can later be elaborated.it normally consists of overall application dataflow and processes of the Internet process. It contains all of the userflow and their entities such all the flow of Banks, Credit, Debits, Fund Transfers, Payees, Services, Login. All of the below diagrams has been used for the visualization of data processing and structured design of the Internet process and working flow.

Zero Level Data flow Diagram(0 Level DFD) of Internet Banking :

This is the Zero Level DFD of Internet Banking, where we have eloborated the high level process of Internet. It’s a basic overview of the whole Internet Banking or process being analyzed or modeled. It’s designed to be an at-a-glance view of Payees,Services and Login showing the system as a single high-level process, with its relationship to external entities of Banks,Credit and Debits. It should be easily understood by a wide audience, including Banks,Debits and Payees In zero leve DFD of Internet Banking, we have described the high level flow of the Internet system.

High Level Entities and proccess flow of Internet Banking:

  • Managing all the Banks
  • Managing all the Credit
  • Managing all the Debits
  • Managing all the Fund Transfers
  • Managing all the Payees
  • Managing all the Services
  • Managing all the Login

First Level Data flow Diagram(1st Level DFD) of Internet Banking :

First Level DFD (1st Level) of Internet Banking shows how the system is divided into sub-systems (processes), each of which deals with one or more of the data flows to or from an external agent, and which together provide all of the functionality of the Internet Banking system as a whole. It also identifies internal data stores of Login, Services, Payees, Fund Transfers, Debits that must be present in order for the Internet system to do its job, and shows the flow of data between the various parts of Banks, Debits, Services, Login, Payees of the system. DFD Level 1 provides a more detailed breakout of pieces of the 1st level DFD. You will highlight the main functionalities of Internet.

Main entities and output of First Level DFD (1st Level DFD):

  • Processing Banks records and generate report of all Banks
  • Processing Credit records and generate report of all Credit
  • Processing Debits records and generate report of all Debits
  • Processing Fund Transfers records and generate report of all Fund Transfers
  • Processing Payees records and generate report of all Payees
  • Processing Services records and generate report of all Services
  • Processing Login records and generate report of all Login

Second Level Data flow Diagram(2nd Level DFD) of Internet Banking :

DFD Level 2 then goes one step deeper into parts of Level 1 of Internet. It may require more functionalities of Internet to reach the necessary level of detail about the Internet functioning. First Level DFD (1st Level) of Internet Banking shows how the system is divided into sub-systems (processes). The 2nd Level DFD contains more details of Login, Services, Payees, Fund Transfers, Debits, Credit, Banks.

Low level functionalities of Internet Banking

  • Admin logins to the system and manage all the functionalities of Internet Banking
  • Admin can add, edit, delete and view the records of Banks, Debits, Payees, Login
  • Admin can manage all the details of Credit, Fund Transfers, Services
  • Admin can also generate reports of Banks, Credit, Debits, Fund Transfers, Payees, Services
  • Admin can search the details of Credit, Payees, Services
  • Admin can apply different level of filters on report of Banks, Fund Transfers, Payees
  • Admin can tracks the detailed information of Credit, Debits, Fund Transfers, , Payees

Description of internet Banking Database :

  • The details of Banks is store into the Banks tables respective with all tables
  • Each entity (User, Debits, Services, Credit, Banks) contains primary key and unique keys.
  • The entity Debits, Services has binded with Banks, Credit entities with foreign key
  • There is one-to-one and one-to-many relationships available between Services, Fund Transfers, User, Banks
  • All the entities Banks, Services, Debits, User are normalized and reduce duplicacy of records
  • We have implemented indexing on each tables of internet Banking tables for fast query execution.
